How to make a perfect eggroll

Omelets are my favorite breakfast dish. But how do they turn out so perfectly? I've tried many different methods and recipes, but none of them seem to work! So I wanted to share some tips and tricks so that you can make delicious, fluffy omelets every morn.

Before we start making omelets, let's remember that eggs are temperamental. The eggs must be fresh from an organic source and kept at room temperature until they are ready to be cooked. The yolks and whites will not form properly if they aren't kept cold enough. This will make your omelets appear strangely colored. If you plan to cook the eggs right away, it is best to use room temperature eggs.

You might also try separating the egg before adding to the pan. The yolk and white should not be mixed together as this can cause the omelet's curdle.

The bottom part of an egg that is added directly to the stovetop might be burned, which could cause a ruined texture in your omelet. Instead, heat the egg in a microwave for 10 seconds and then place it in a pan. The microwave heat cooks your egg just right, without it becoming too soft.

Next, let's talk about mixing the eggs. When mixing eggs, it is important to thoroughly beat them. To do this, grab the bowl of the mixer and turn it upside down. Now shake the bowl vigorously. This allows the air to be whipped and the egg to be mixed thoroughly.

The fun part is now - adding the milk to the mixture. The first step is to pour half of the milk in the beaten eggs. Next, fold the eggs into the remaining milk. Do not be alarmed if there are still egg streaks visible. Once the omelet flips, these streaks will disappear.

After you have folded your eggs, heat up the oil on medium heat. Wait for it to get hot. Add 1/4 cup butter to the oil and swirl it around to coat all sides of the pan. Open the lid and sprinkle salt on the pan. An additional pinch of salt will prevent the omelet form sticking to your pan.

Once the omelet has formed completely, cover the pan and let it set for a few minutes. Flip the omelet over using a spatula or flip the pan upside down. Cook the other side for about a minute. Serve the omelet immediately by removing it from the pan.

This recipe works best with whole milk, but skimmed milk also works.
