Although this practice isn't widespread, it has attracted a lot of attention. NC has a minimum wage of $7.25/h. Tip minimum wage is $2.13/h. It's not a good idea to keep more than $12/h, if it's not going to increase your salary. Your waiter should be paid at least the minimum wage. Tips are supposed to compensate for any difference. But that doesn't mean that your waiter should be stealing your tips.

How To

How to make the perfect omelet

Omelets are one of my favorite foods to eat at breakfast. But how do you create them perfectly? I've tried many recipes and different methods but none have worked. So I wanted to share some tips and tricks so that you can make delicious, fluffy omelets every morn.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. You must get them fresh, organically, and keep them cold until you cook. They must be kept cool, otherwise the whites will not form properly and the yolks may become runny. This can make your omelets look bizarrely colored. If you're going to cook them immediately, it is best if the eggs are still warm.

Another tip is to separate your egg before adding it into the pan. Because this could cause your omelet to become curdled, you don't want any yolk to be mixed with any white.

If you add the egg directly onto the stovetop, you might end up burning the bottom part of the egg, which would ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, heat the egg for 10 seconds in the microwave before placing it in the pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. When you mix eggs together, you want to beat them well. You need to turn the bowl of the mixer upside down. Then shake the bowl vigorously. This way, the air inside the bowl gets whipped around and mixes the egg thoroughly.

Now it's time to have fun: pour the milk into the mixture. The first step is to pour half of the milk in the beaten eggs. Next, fold the eggs into the remaining milk. Do not worry if you see streaks of egg; they will disappear when the omelet is flipped.

After folding the eggs, place the pan on medium heat and wait for the oil to start sizzling. Once the oil starts getting hot, add 1/4 cup of butter to the pan and swirl it around to coat the entire surface of the pan. Next, carefully open the lid and sprinkle salt into your pan. An additional pinch of salt will prevent the omelet form sticking to your pan.

Cover the pan once you have formed the omelet. Wait for the top to set. Use a spatula to flip the omelet or turn the pan upside-down. Cook the other side for about a minute. Take out the omelet and place it in a bowl.

This recipe is best when used with whole milk. But, you can use skimmed milk as well.
